In the event of you contacting Support A Squaddie as a volunteer to correspond with the troops, you will be asked to provide us with adequate identification to verify your authenticity. There will be absolutely no exceptions under any circumstances. This is purely for the purpose of maintaining the security and safety of our Forces. This, as we are sure you will appreciate, is our very first priority. Please, gain the permission of the soldier you wish to nominate before you pass their details onto us.
This project is a support unit for the British Forces, it is not a pen pal service. We cannot guarantee you will receive a reply from your soldier. Please, bear in mind that they are not always in the position to write letters etc. If you do receive correspondence from a soldier we cannot guarantee the content. If, you have already contacted us and wish for you details to be removed from our database, contact us again and we will do this for you.
All details given to us are treated in the strictest confidence and will not be passed onto any third parties at any time.
